The ProLiant DL385 G2 delivers on the DL385 performance and the DL380"s history of design excellence with enterprise-class uptime and manageability, and now with proven 2-processor AMD Opteron performance and power efficiency, and 2U density for a variety of rack deployments and applications. State-of the-art AMD Opteron 2000 Series dual core processors, up to 32GB of DDR2-667) SDRAM to support demanding memory intensive applications, 4 PCI-Express expansion slots and optional PCI-X provide latest I/O performance technologies, dual multifunction Gigabit NICs with T to reduce network latency; HP Smart Array P400 with 256 MB read cache (Base and Performance models); or Smart Array E200 with 64MB read cache (Entry model) both controllers are upgradeable with battery-backed write cache capabilities and larger read cache sizes.
