The HP ProLiant BL45p Generation 2 server blade is engineered for high performance environments requiring enterprise manageability and availability with maximum 4P expansion. TheProLiant BL45p G2 features AMD Opteron 8000 Series processors and supports up to 64 GB of PC2-5300 Registered DDR2 (667 MHz) memory, up to eight Gigabit NICs, up to two optional dual port Fibre Channel Adaptors (2 Gb), and your choice of up to two hot-plug small form factor (SFF) serial attached SCSI (SAS) or serial ATA (SATA) Hard Drives. The ProLiant BL45p G2 continues the legacy of design excellence achieved by the first generation ProLiant BL45p by delivering more performance, more management and reliability features, and more expansion capabilities per server blade.
