The HP Designjet 500 Plus printer is the professional printer at an exceptional price for small workgroups (1 to 3 people) in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction and mechanical design. It delivers ultimate line and photo quality with continuous tones, smooth transitions and a wide color gamut. The printer comes in two sizes, with a media path that is either 42 inches (107 cm) or 24 inches (61 cm) wide. Ultimate photo quality is achieved using HP colour layering and up to 1200 dpi resolution. 1 Ultimate line quality, with lines as thin as 0.002 in. (0.05 mm) and an accuracy of +/- 0.2%, is the result of minuscule drops and continuous ink flow. Many more colours are available per printed dot as the printer layers different colour ink drops over each other to create new colours. The HP Designjet 500 Plus is an exceptionally priced printer and has incredibly low cost-per-copy of ink and media. The printer is ideal for small workgroups (1 to 3 people) and has print times as short as 90 seconds for D-size (A1-size) drawings.
