Colour and black and white printing is carried out at a swift 21ppm in colour and 28ppm in b&w** and at a resolution of 2,400 dpi x 600 dpi. A sturdy document feeder, plus a potential paper supply of 850 sheets, ensures sizeable print runs can be comfortably accommodated. The iSend facility enables the imageRUNNER C1028i/C1028iF to be a great communicating aid - instantly sending files to e-mail addresses, desktop, ftp server and file locations.

The imageRUNNER C1028i incorporates Canon’s Auto Colour Sensing technology which intelligently detects which pages within a document contain colour, and which don’t, and then prints accordingly, helping to keep costs down and fix the price per page. There’s no need to worry about constant monitoring either as eMaintenance automatically reports any problems to service centres and Canon partners.
Canon’s optional uniFLOW Output manager provides a host of extra control facilities including Print Accounting, which allows you to monitor and account print jobs and Secure Printing, which holds print jobs until the user correctly identifies themselves at the device via the relevant security method e.g. card or password.
