The iR6880C is part of what Canon is calling their Black & White with Smart Colour range, offering improved cost efficiency, control, security and productivity. The intelligent iR6880C is a highly affordable black and white multifunctional device that also gives you the benefits of colour communication when it’s needed. With this dependable device you can print, copy, fax, scan or send information, at incredible speeds, to colleagues and customers with ease.
The iR6880C is set by default to print in black & white but allows you to use colour selectively and intelligently when you need to make a strong impression. Alternatively, using Auto Colour Sensing the iR6880C is capable of detecting when colour is present on a page and automatically switches the output from black and white to colour accordingly.
The iR6880C offers a host of options so you can effectively control usage and costs. For example, specify colour page quotas by user or department for sensible and controllable colour usage; see who is printing what, where and how much it’s costing and/or limit certain functions to specific users.
The iR6880C opens up new ways to communicate information throughout your business. The universal send features allow you to scan documents at a speed of 70 originals per minute, in colour or black & white, and digitally distribute them securely to network folders, email addresses and mailboxes.
Improved confidentiality and security features lets you protect sensitive information. Device access can be controlled via passwords, company log-in procedures or even fingerprints! For highly sensitive material, hold documents in password protected secure mailboxes, and encrypt scanned documents before sending to others.
The iR6880C offers a wide range of finishing options including hole punching and automatic saddle-stitched booklet making, giving you a cost-effective way of bringing document production in-house.
The iR6880C adheres to the strictest environmental standards such as RoHS, which restricts the use of hazardous substances - reassuring for today’s environmentally conscious businesses.
