Exceptional colours and brilliant black and white:Canon's incredible 12-colour LUCIA pigment ink system on the iPF9100 produces the full spectrum of colours with unnerving accuracy and perfect balance due to the innovative inclusion of both RGB and CMY inks. A dual print head featuring 30,720 nozzles produces super-fine, evenly distributed 4 picolitre ink droplets. Black and white photography work has never looked so good. A combination of black, matt black, grey and photo grey inks allow for incredibly smooth graduation without graininess for incredibly lifelike photography. Opening the door to numerous applications such as wedding photography, christenings, and the rapidly growing lifestyle portrait work. Equally important, the iPF9100 lets you produce work that's here to stay, with prints that are guaranteed to be unaffected by light (Lightfastness) for 100 years and with borderless printing up to 60" your prints will have maximum impact. With an on-board colour calibration tool, with the iPF9100 your prints will be consistent from print to print and there is no need for external devices, once calibrated the printer is set-up.

Cost effective and highly productive printing: the multitude of inks available plus the inclusion of two separate grey inks means that, unlike conventional systems, there is much less need to blend colours (to create other colours) and as a consequence, less ink is required. Meaning brilliant results that are highly cost effective too. Such an innovative system doesn't mean compromise your deadlines either. The iPF9100 can print A1 draft prints in just over 2 minutes. High capacity ink tanks (700ml) can also be replaced whilst printing for consistent, deadline beating performance.
Easy to live and grow with: a large LCD display makes operating the incredibly simple, allowing you to focus on creating your masterpieces. Canon's specialist printer driver gives access to a wealth of advanced capabilities such as KYANOS, Canon's next generation colour management. But for simplicity you can choose to operate in "easy mode", utilising the various pre-configured settings. Additional software is included, enhancing the connectivity and capability of your Large Format Print environment including Digital Photo Front Access, a Plug-In for Photoshop and you can also add Canon's incredible poster creation software PosterArtist 2007 as an option.
