Sharp DX-B350P / DX-B450P – Setting the Pace for Network Printing

Sharp DX-B350P / DX-B450P: Overview
Like its sister machine the DX-B350P, the Sharp DX-B450P is an A4 mono network-capable laser printer, supplied with a range of advanced print features that make it easy to use and manage.
Included with both models are handy tools such as Web Browser and Printer Status Monitor to let you know what your DX-B450P printer is doing without having to leave your desk. Both printers also have Automated Email Alerts to notify you when the toner or paper needs topping up.
The difference in model numbers - and thus price - is reflected in the two printers' output, 43ppm for the DX-B450P and 34ppm for the DX-B350P. A 40GB hard drive can be fitted, which means that documents can be stored by the printer itself for direct printing. Also supported is direct PDF printing.
For those busy times when everyone seems to need a print-run at the same time, the optional Offset Catch Tray keeps print jobs separate and your workflows intact.
Print resolutions up to 1,200dpi are supported and both models the have a time-to-first-print of eight seconds - another major time-saver. For additional efficiencies, paper supplies expandable to 1,800 sheets with one 150 sheet and one 550 sheet drawer are provided as standard.
Sharp DX-B350P / DX-B450P: Security
Both the DX-B340P and the DX-B350P have clever security features, such as Port Control and IP Filtering which guard against unauthorised network access. Plus with the optional 40GB Hard Disk Drive, you can prevent confidential documents from being left lying around in the output tray by requiring the originator to personally enter a PIN at the printer before the job can start.

Your whole team will find it easy to use less paper with the optional Duplex Module, which allows automatic two-sided printing, and both models have the environment-friendly bill of health via their Energy Star, Nordic Swan and Blue Angel accreditations.
