NC325m PCI Express Quad Port Gigabit Adaptor for c-Class Blade System: Description

The NC325m Adaptor is a Quad (4) port Gigabit server Adaptor for c-Class BladeServers. The NC325m Adaptor has been designed and validated with BladeSystem customer needs in mind. Additionally, it supports the following IEEE standards: 802.3, 802.3ab, 802.3ad, 802.3x, 802.3p, and 802.1Q. The PCI Express NC325m Adaptor can be installed in any of the c-Class server blades" available mezzanine slots that are able to support 4 ports. (Note that the NC325m will function in 2-port BladeSystem mezzanine slots but will only provide connectivity on 2 of its 4 ports. For specific details on which mezzanine slots support 4 ports, refer to the individual server"s QuickSpecs document.) The NC325m Adaptor ports are not RJ45 but are four electrical connections to the Interconnect bays and the copper cabling is via a BladeSystem switch or a pass-thru module and not directly from the NC325m Adaptor
